About the Role

We’re hiring a Data Strategist, a client-facing project lead who can take complex projects from ambiguity to delivery.

This role blends strategic problem-solving, technical depth, and project leadership. You’ll oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple engagements and serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.

Your contributions will be defined by project ownership and delivery, as well as close collaboration with our data engineering team to bring solutions to life. You’ll scope projects, design approaches, steer execution, and jump in hands-on when needed, from SQL/dbt modeling to dashboard design.

This is a great fit for someone who has led analytics or engineering workstreams, thrives in ambiguity, an enjoys collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.

This is a contract role for a duration of 4 months and potential to convert to a FTE.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery for complex analytics and data engineering projects.
• Lead client relationships: set expectations, run steering updates, and guide decision-making.
• Scope new projects and translate ambiguous needs into clear plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Anticipate risks, remove blockers, and ensure high quality work is delivered on time.
• Write SQL, guide data modeling and collaborate on BI solutions (Omni, Sigma, Looker, PowerBI).
• Maintain documentation and reusable frameworks.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 4–6 years in analytics, data engineering, data consulting, or related roles.
• Strong SQL fundamentals and the ability to evaluate logic and models.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
• Proven success leading cross-functional data projects.
